Guest Speaker for Acts of Love Fundraising Event

Join me for an inspirational and informative fundraising event for Acts of Love, a non-profit organization dedicated to caring for and educating marginalized children in India. Founded by Munira Nagji in Calgary, Alberta, the vision of Acts of Love is to create a better world for our children.

In 2021, I had the privilege to travel to India and volunteer at Sahara Home for two months, where I made a deep connection with Munira and a special bunch of kids from Jivapur, Gujarat. During this fundraising event, I will share photos and stories about my experience; we will learn about Munira and her journey and meet the beautiful children of Sahara.

Come as you are to gather in supportive sisterhood, where we will share, reflect and write our way to live our one true life with courage and heart. You do not need to have read this book or have any writing experience to join. I will provide writing prompts to stir your soul and get your hand moving on the page.

This is a 4-part series which will take place virtually on zoom and requires a stable internet connection. To participate, basic competence and familiarity with Zoom are required and video and audio must be enabled. The dates are Tuesday November 8, 15, 22, and 29 2022 — From 7-8pm MST.

RBC Emerging Visual Artist Exhibition

Join me at one of Canada’s largest multidisciplinary arts centres, where I will be an exhibiting artist for the RBC Emerging Visual Artist Program at the Arts Commons.

Entirely shot on 35mm film and hand-developed in my darkroom in India, this series of analogue fine art prints is a tribute to the people and places across India that touched my heart.
